Wear Wild Things was originally started in 2003 as a small crafting accident. It expanded into crazy crocheting projects to carry out my fascination with yarn and fiber materials. This is just a little history on how my hobby literally grew into a one of a kind business by a one woman show!
Jaime, the crafty creator, got her creativity from her mom, who has been a seamstress for over 30 years. Making costumes and drawing together sparked a serious interest in crafts too.
Once, I started buying yarn and other materials, there was no stopping me. Everything I was making had a unique twist to it. Staying up until all hours of the morning designing new hats, scarves, and fun accessories was my life. One day, I realized that I needed to share all my special creations with other people, so I began to sell my stuff at craft shows and by word of mouth. Making my own designs and also taking special orders keeps me on my toes. Pushing past the norm is what I do, so don't be shy to asking me to make something just for you!

Shipping Information:
Usually the orders can be filled right away if an item is already made it takes 3 to 4 days for handling an item and usually 7-10 days to ship. Special Orders are the exception and will be previously discussed in confirmation of the order. It may be less than this and you can call to track your order. Shipping may vary for Worldwide orders, so please email for a confirmation and an estimate. I love sending my creations abroad it's great. You as the buyer need to be aware of customs and their cost once it reaches your country. Wear Wild Things is not responsible for those costs. I do ship to anywhere in the US. If you have purchased more than one item we can definitely try to ship orders together, also if there are special needs for the item, such as insurance. The cost of the shipping may very slightly due to the added items. This is a very important reason why I need your contact information to discuss shipping. I want you to be satisfied with every buying experience and this is included. Also be aware if it is a bulk order it will be at a higher rate. Using a conservative estimate, orders can be filled within a week, unless there is an order of the same item ahead of yours. In special circumstances I can push and get things out faster, however, I am a one woman show and strive for the best quality in my work. If all else please call me, giving people a great buying experience when they find that special item is very important to me!
Refund, Returns and Cancellation Policies:
The refund, return, or cancellation policies (if any) can be sticky, unless we keep in good communication about your order.
The return policy is very simple. Contact me with any questions about your order. When you receive your items and you are not 100% satisfied with it and it hasn't been used or worn, you have 7 days to return it. Return shipping is the buyers responsibility. If there are flaws in the workmanship or a defect to the item, please contact me as soon as possible. This should happen within 3 days from the date you have received it so we can replace the item or figure out any other means to reconcile the issue! Wear Wild Things is not responsible for the items or items that have been used, worn, or half eaten by pets. I say this because pets love my items too!
The Refund Process:
I will make it my top priority to refund you as fast as humanly possible when all issues are reconciled! Things take time and if there are any issues with a refund please call me and I will personally find out the delay or issue!!
Canceling an order sometimes happens, just be aware that you need to contact us as soon as possible. Most items are already made and ready to ship within the next few days. Special orders however, are time consuming and very tedious work. Once an order is confirmed I start working to fill this order. The order has already been discussed and a down payment that is refundable would cover the time and labor spent on the order that you are canceling. If you are changing colors or something of this nature that is ok, but contact me as soon as possible. You may be charged for the new item and the item completed. I do want everyone to be happy, so these can all be worked out with good communication!!
